Type MPA axial-leaded metallized polyestene capacitors are available in a wide range of capacitance values in reduced sizes. Flame-retardant tape wrap and epoxy end seals provide moisture resistance. Used most frequently in high voltage/high-frequency switching power supplies where superior stability and AC performance characteristics are important.
